What is it?

Anyone have any idea what it is they use to coat the bumper. This stuff is think and tough. Thanks for the help.

I'm assuming you are talking about the stock bumper and it is powder coated.

I didnt think that it was powder coat since it is so thick and tough. I know powder coat is tough but I didnt think it was that thick.

That is a black textured powdercoat...I used it on my cage previously

OK thanks for the info. I am going to look for someone to do some power coating for me. Maybe look and see what a set up to do it myself would coast.

a proper powder coat setup is expensive unless you go with something like the craftsman setup and i would be supprised if it did a good job

powder coaters are poping up all over, the guy I know that does it says to look at some of there work personally there are some cheesey powders out there.they don't heat right and it flakes off as soon as it gets a chip. he just got a bigger oven so if & when I build a new cage I will do the thick textured also.
