i prefer Full synthetic Klotz 10w-40 in the winter and 15w-50 in the winter! Ive seen a lot of Brute Forces with the same engine loose crankshafts and timing chains because of nasty oil! Thats just me though

No need for motorcycle oil, there is no clutch internal to engine.

Front diff uses motor oil and rear uses hydraulic oil

Oil?

I serviced mine, the rear diff I used the Kawi oil because of the brakes, which I am sure you are using.
The front diff I put in Amsoil 75w90 full synthetic, I don't know if this is good or not but I did it anyhow, only have 1 short ride on it so don't know if good or bad, a few people on here also put gear oil in front diff instead of engine oil.
The engine oil I am running Amsoil 15w40 full synthetic, first time going to synthetic. Was reading up on oil and found out if right or not but you don't want to run 'Energy Conserving' oil in it because of the ratings, but saying that I don't know if this oil is considered energy conserving or not, figure no because it is a diesel oil. It does have the SL rating which I think is energy conserving but it also has a JASO DH-1 rating. Maybe our AMSOIL expert on here can chime in and help out on oil ratings. I know he had thread on here somewhere explaining some of this.
THIS OIL STUFF IS GETTING WORSE AND MORE CONFUSING EVERYDAY, I DEAL WITH CARS EVERYDAY AND IT SEEMS LIKE WE NEED MORE UPDATED OIL EVERY MONTH!!!

Uh, the front diff uses standard JASO MA/MA2 motor oil, I'd get the gear lube outta there as the gears are calling for a SAE40 weight oil and your putting in SAE 90 weight...way too thick and gear oil uses a different weight standard than motor oil.

Basically the Teryx uses anything that is JASO MA/MA2 in the engine and the front diff...the rear diff is hydraulic tractor fluid (AMSOIL ATH).

Some guys run 15W-40 deisel (pre-2007) because it contains higher levels of phosphorous than the new ultra-low sulfer oils. I can't say I'd recommend it, but I know guys use it.

This is the post I found, maybe Diesel can enlighten us as to what he is running now, on this post he mentioned he was running Redline gear oil in the front or going to. Will try to find the next thread to post that has the oil descriptions on it!
