anyone tried this?

was wondering if anyone has tried to make a hinged hood. like everyone else i'm a little tired of taking all of the screws out. as far as i can see maybe a little support underneath, 2 stainless hinges, and 2 rubber hood straps from a snowmobile. any ideas before i buy a new hood and try it just for fun?

Whatever you have to do to get it to work, please get it to work and then please share it...I honestly believe it will be the most popular mod ever!!

This has been an issue ever since day one...actually I have an extra hood, I may have to look at it as well.

I got to tell you. The worst part of doing any work on this machine is not the actual job itself. Its removing that damn hood. Especially with the half windshield too. Pleeeease find a solution! Are you listening Kawasaki!!

I have to agree, I love the Teryx, but this seriously makes things a huge hassle. Granted with the stock cage you can atleast slide the hood up on it, but it is still a paint to remove all the screws. Now an aftermarket cage with a lower crossmember, you can forget about it.
