The Hack Job

Here are some pics of my lowered cage.

I cut 4 inches out of the rear and 6 inches out of the front pillars. This brought the whole roof line down 4 level inches. It now stands at 70" to the top of the cage.

The finish product will have a black wrinkle finish, with a tinted black windsheild. I have sence added a CDI and Kenda Executioners. This is one heavy tire. Before the after market CDI I could still hit the rev limiter with the heavy tires, now I can get a few extra MPH and I don't lean against the limiter.
I've got a few ideas to lighten the whole beast up. I'll keep everbody posted.
Thanks for all the help you guys have given me.

I got the cage painted and the windshield tinted. New wheels will be here next week. I'm also starting aluminum bumpers.

Nice job, I took five inches out of mine, almost too much, but for me it works.

I am also 5'10". I clear the roof by 3" or better. If you look at my pics the head rest is at the factory height. I have plenty of room. I will try to post a pic of me in it after I get my bumpers done. To everybody else please post pics of your lowered cages.
thanks,
warhammer
