Teryx storage tray

I finally got this together. Been wanting to do this for quite awhile. Have to get it painted, or maybe I'll use bedliner...not sure yet. It eliminates considerable amount of clutter I had in the bed of the Teryx. Now tools and various ranch related items at hand and I got my bed space back.

A mini pack rat. Looks good and the Healer still has a place to ride.

Great idea my friend, maybe get some of the do-it-yourself rubberized coating and do the top of it...Will give you a non-slip surface as well as seal it.

Considering I got next to nothing in it, I think it turned out ok. But if you see it first hand, itís got rough spots. Being retired and money seems always short, I tend to use what I got. I needed to use embossed metal for support, but got a deal on a sheet of metal I couldnít turn down. The bearing slides was out of an old computer mainframe rack, and not being designed for my purpose, had to make concessions on how I fab it in. Also, remove four bolts, and itís out of the bed. Once you do one of these one off projects you always think of other ways to do itÖ..but it is very serviceable for my purpose, and my trial run with it tells meÖI like it. It solves a real headache I had with stuff in the bed.

Great idea. What does it sound like with all the stuff bouncing around while riding or did you come up with something for it?

Actually I think it's a lot better with the tray versus without. I do know....it is quieter than having everything just tossed in the bed. I had ammo boxes, and coffee cans and just loose things...and it seems stuff bounced around a lot more without the tray.

I like the idea and think there has to be a way to keep things quiet. (more for trail rides) I wish I had seen this before I mounted my rear seat frame.
