Pic of broken steering rack!!

Here is a pic of my broken steering rack. Had a slight roll over and busted it.

Did you go with a gear one rack? I just snaped mine and have to replace it. I will not put a stock back in it broke to easy!!!

Nope warranty covered and went back with stock.

Did you tell them you rolled it or just hit a little bump on a trail and it snapped??? Can't see Kawasaki warranty covering this if I bring mine in broken. They should have bought you a power steering unit to test!

i hit a "little" (hahaha) rock and broke mine exactly the same way as the pic. didnt think about the warranty but will do next time. i replaced it with stock because....if i would have had a gear one i dont think it would have broken. then something would have been bent and who knows what that would have been. sure a tie rod is cheap but what if it was an a arm or spindle or wheel??? you have to have a weak link somewhere, i guess you have to decide what you want it to be.

08' red rex with too many upgrades.

Funny part is, unless things have changed you can't buy a tie rod yet just the whole rack.

exactly and you cant buy just cv's either. this really sucks!!!
