What size trailer do you haul your Teryx with?

I'm looking for a trailer - can I get away with a sturdy 6X8 trailer? The guy has been hauling two ATV's on it, so weight is comparable, but should I be looking for a 10' trailer? Any other issues I should be looking at?

Thanks in advance,

Rick

No waaaay an 8' trailer will work, unless there's no gate on it. I have a 5x10, and it juuuust fits with my aftermarket wheels/tires. Maybe have 8-12" of length left.

I'm pulling a 6'x12' with a 4' expanded metal fold down gate. It works great. Plenty of room for the Teryx, coolers, gas cans etc. I looked at 5'x10' trailers. I'm really glad I went with the larger one.

5' is tight, I pull a 6x10 w/ 4ft gate and Im running wider tires with spacers as well. Wouldnt go any smaller than 6x10

5X10 here, It sucks pulling with that, looking for a 6X12. On my 5X10, the weight still is not centered right, and the trailer wants to wheelie ride! I would only go with a 5X10 if it was free or cheap, but I think you'd be disappointed. I see no way of going smaller than that, IMO..

I have a 20ft car hauler that I use when hauling more than just the teryx. For hauling just my rex I built 5x10 that is perfect. Here is a pic just dont look at the rhino that is setting on it LOL.

i use a 6 x 14 with the drop down rear gate. LOTS of room left over for whatever you want. plus you may consider if you would use the trailer to do more than just haul your teryx around. the extra length doesn't really add much weight at all, so why buy 2 trailers when one in the happy medium range will work better? that is if you need to.
