What is max rpm for the teryx

Does anyone know what rpm this motor makes the most power with muzzy twin pipes and jetting and cdi. I want to know what to clutch for.

Thanks Chris.

I remember reading somebody somewhere, I think it was chase that was hitting 9800 rpm with his build. I am pretty sure that Mickey told me with my 840 kit that I would be hitting that with the right clutching, not positive, but think he said that?

I can't remember the limiter on he non-programmable but think it is 9200, the programmable you can go to 12,000 I think.

I am helpless when not in front of the programming computer.

Oh, that explains why I am hitting the limiter at 70 mph I must be hitting that 9200, so I need to get the programmable CDI and the other curves, will let me RPM higher?

I think it was 9200 on the VDI then, that number just sticks in my mind.

Twincylinder, what type of clutch are you doing? Are you modifying one yourself, dalton or what? VFORCEJOHN has the info you are looking for I believe...

vforcejohn.com

Here is his forum page on another site, you might get some info there, several good write ups...
