Noisy Teryx

I know that some of you will call me a wuss for saying this, but I got to tell you that my stock '08 Teryx is so noisy that I can't even drive it without wearing earplugs. If I have a passenger next to me we cannot even communicate without screaming at each other!!! It certainly sucks!! I wish that someone that makes Teryx "Mods" would come out with a product to suppress all that noise! Anything, please!!!!!!!!!!!

Every time I use my machine, I have a headache by the end of the day, so I am desparate for a solution. I have e-mailed my dilemma to a few Teryx seat builders, hoping they would do some R&D on the problem. We need some kind of sound absorbing material in just the right areas for this to be addressed!

The 09 is much quieter. You should be able to add the 09 stuff to it.

Rubber Engine shroud

sound and heat shields under seat.

ETC.

Anybody got an 09 manual to get the part numbers from? My 09 is WAY quieter and cooler than my 08 and I would love to retrofit the 09 stuff to it. Todd told me this when I was making the decision to try to find another 08 or go with an 09. You were right Todd.

I would just go look at a 09 model and then look at the parts diagram and order it up. You may not have the mount holes for everything but you could use my favorite self tapping screws.
