Teryx or Rhino?

Well I'm just getting into the side by side world!! Currently I am undecided between a Rhino or a Teryx? My wife wants the Rhino, but I want the Teryx. I have heard that they are hard on belts. I live in northern Alberta. Lots of heavy mud riding. I will be running 28'' Zilla's. Curious if anybody is experiencing belt problems?

Welcome

I just got 28" zillas on 12" rims for my Teryx.
Run a clutch kit and stay in low in the mud and you should good on belts.
Teryx has more power than the Rhino, especially with a few simple mods.

Had an 07 rhino 660, now i have a 09 teryx. I would not go back to a rhino for anything. It is like night and day. But the best thing you can do is go drive both and see which you like better. If it was me I would go teryx.

My in-laws have an 08 Rhino, but after driving my Teryx they wish that they would have got the Teryx instead.

I just got my new Teryx Sport yesterday, we did 30 mils in the woods, through mud, we did rough rock climbing, and the only thing I can say is "WOW, WOW,WOW"!! Kawa Rock's I do not understand how the other manufacturers can stay in business against Kawasaki Teryx. YES buy a Teryx, no question about it. I love mine. I did the same as you, lots of investigation about different models and the TeryX jumped ahead of the pack in terms of safety, stability, comfort, etc.

Well thanks for the help. I have rode both and lke the teryx, but the belt thing just kinda scares me! I know that the rhino's are pretty bullet proof. I don't really know anyone who has a teryx to compare it to just taking your guys word for it!!

i have not had a problem with my belt at all and i am pretty hard on it. and i wouldn't call a rhino bullet proof. my girl friends sister inlaw broke a ball joint, torqued the frame, and broke the steering box bracket from the frame. in my opion it's all in how you ride them and how you keep up on your maintance. you can have the best machine in the would but if you let it go it will turn into a large paper weight.

I went from a Rhino to a Teryx and would not go back. Nothing against the Rhino just like the Teryx better.
