nice video, after seeing exactly what they are and where they go, i struggle more to justify them for the price. are they really worth it? that much of a problem with the intake coming off?

Your kidding right? Have you grabbed your intake and physically felt how easily the intake comes off?...I KNOW mine fell off 3 times before I started zip tying it down...

ANYONE with an 08 should be installing these...if nothing else for peace of mind...

Have you made these for other carbs on quads (ie bigger FCRs)?

Not yet...we were not aware of the potential in any other version...the DASA intake solves most poor clamping surface issues on quads like the LTR450, KFX450R, Raptor 700 and the TRX450...

I wouldn't have spent the time designing these rings if I didn't feel there was a problem. There have been multiple threads showing this problem with the plenum and how dirt enters when the plenum comes loose, it doesn't have to come all the way off for the dirt to enter just loose.

To answer your question, the price is justified. It would cost much more money to rebuild your motor after it is dirted. Running CNC machines are not cheap either!! AND BESIDES it was soo easy that Kawie could do it? Right? LOL

TO ALL 08 OWNERS

IF YOU HAVE NOT CHECKED YOUR PLENUM I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO EVERYTIME YOU SERVICE YOUR UNIT OR AIR FILTER.
