Looking for a mirror, wondering what everyone else is running or tried, not worried about price as much as I want something that works good, any pictures would be good, thanks.

I have the Axia Alloy mirror and works good, a little bit $$$ but I didn't like the cheaper ones that have the 3 or 4 different little mirrors in them, they seemed confusing to me. This one is kind of panoramic so you can see pretty good behind you and looks really good! Here is the link:

I'm looking at buying one of the Axia alloys also. I just can't bring myself to spend that much money a mirror quite yet. I've seen a few that look like regular rear view mirrors in a car. They look like they attach to an after market roll bar. I though about one of those also.

I am also using Axia, one for driver and one for passenger. I had the mounting brackets powercoated to match the cage. My feeling is you need all the eyes forward and backwards when you hauling ass.

my mirror

I just got a curved mirror from a auto parts store, think it was about $9. Bolted it in the existing hole in the factory plastic roof just over your head into the metal brace. Works good, just like a school bus mirror to watch the kids. Way better than a $100 mirror that sticks outside the roll cage,a tree would quickly bust it off if it was my ride. crow

How are the vibrations (moving distortions) on that Axia alloys mirror?

I too, do not like those mirrors that are split up into three or four sections, I would never buy one again, but then again...I just can't see spending $200 for a mirror. That is why I have a $20 mirror.

I know the kind of trail riding we do around here the side mounts would never last, not for me anyway.

I love how the Axia is panaromic bent, that is what I would like to have, maybe we could go together and get a group buy? If you come across one like the Axia, much cheaper, let me know.

And for those that will ask here is my mirror.....

Crow, any pics of your mirror installed? Be appreciated to see.

With the mirrors set up, the only thing I really want to know is the distortion involved with them, when you are traveling down the road. How are they???

It is a convex mirror but doesn't have a lot of curve to it. The distortion is very little & you can really see quite well behind you. I tried to take a picture in the drivers seat, but the camera was to close to get a decent shot. Everyone that tries to machine really likes the mirror and tells me it is a good addition.
