Question on Jetting

Currently on my 08 Teryx I have the hunterworks carb kit, Programmable CDI with HW curve and I normally have the Tip out. Currently I have it Jetted for the 0-3000' per the HW instructions. My question is, if i put my tip back in, will that cause a need to change the jetting? (I am going up where they require the spark arrester).

Before you ask, i don't have the A/F gauge in yet, i was planning on putting that in when i get the Muzzy exhaust. Is everyone running the standard HW jetting, or have you changed it up some?

no need to rejet.

i am running the hw kit, nonprog dyna and a few other goodies and am in the 0-3000' range and absolutely CANT go by the recommendations. sometimes you just have to tune and tweak to your own machine as i am seeing.....

I'd get exhaust then get it tuned all at once and be done with it or you will be doing this all over again.
Good luck with it.

Is the HW jetting seem to be too rich or to lean? Are you guys using A/F meter, or spark plug's to determine which way to go.

Once I put in the A/F meter, how does each change affect the A/F ratio though the RPM range, like clip, screw and jets?
