Dash Reverse Light On

Just took Teryx for a ride today and noticed my reverse light on the dash flickering on and off. Only thing is I was going forward. High gear Low gear same thing. Almost like its attached to throttle cable. Rev it up light gets brighter. I have looked everywhere for loose ground or something. Cant find a thing. Please help.
Thanks

hey man its prob not the linkage in this case...my 07 brute force would do the same thing after i road in mud, water, etc...under the driver seat near the oil dip stick you should see a green wire with a black connector...its a bullet style connector..pull the connector off and clean the terminal off that attaches to the engine block..there is 2 of these style plugs just go ahead and clean both real good and apply some dielectric grease.its probably corroded...never had this to happen on my teryx but my 750 brute would happen from time to time...let me know if it works out for ya

Just wanted to say "Thanks to all of you." Adjusted shift linkage, kinda fixed problem. But, shifts better. Then, cleaned connector. Problem solved!
You guys are the best. Thanks again. And safe riding to all of you.
Keep the rubber side down!
