Why do people keep ...

I tell ya ... after a couple trips top the dunes I have to wonder why people keep the stock exhaust. This is mainly Rhinos simply because they are like assholes ... everyone's got one and they all stink.
I see guys with over a grand in wheels/tires, cages, light kits, shocks, even stereos ... but running the same old stock exhaust can. Maybe I'm just wierd about performance being the top priority.

Noise

So, this might be the right time to ask if anyone has attempted splitting the stock exhaust and running two stock mufflers. In theory, this should increase horsepower without the noise. I use my Teryx to hunt as well as for fun and don't want to scare every animal within a 100 miles. OR does someone offer a quiet aftermarket exhaust syatem?

A good set of pipes is the way to go no question. You will see great gains by installing a set of pipes. Plus with our Dasa pipes you will make great HP stock ..... then when you do more engine mods the pipes will support those mods

Muzzy

i run the Muzzy exhaust and could not be happier. As far as it being loud ... I don't really think I a much louder experience while driving. Don't get me wrong ... it's louder ... but the different exhaust note is awesome with this pipe. I'm not really sure how much the whisper core tones it down, but i have also heard that the core has minimal effect on power.

Exhaust

I know there's a lot of you guys who use your vehicles to race george down the street, and I understand there's a race market for this new class of vehicle. But I live in an Arizona town next to the Imperial sand dunes in California, which is an extremely busy place for a couple of months in the winter, and the majority of people around here and all over the country are more interested in using these vehicles for casual excusions with friends and family. This majority just wants more horsepower than stock without having to lose their hearing. So, can someone please come up with an aftermarket exhaust system that will accomplish this task. The auto industry did it for muscle cars. In the 60s & 70s it was cool to wake the neighbors when you left the house but manufacturers solved this problem and now it's not cool. Neither is it cool for me to start up my Teryx for a common night ride and have noise complaints filed the next day.

They need to be quiet & forestry approved so I can ride on public land & not start a forest fire or get pulled over by the forestry cops. I hate being hassled.

Well I run the stock exhaust due to the Db limit of 93 in Oergon. Would love to have something different but dont want to risk the $425.00 ticket.
