Motor wise if you want to stay out of the bottom end you can go cams and pistons. There are some nice stock bore kits available. If you don't want to go into the engine you can go with an ignition and pipes. The 09 airbox is supposed to breath nicely.

I can't speak much for the pipes or the electronics right now as I havent got mine yet. I have gone with a Dynatech PC5 with optional autotune, still weighing the options on the pipe but I will likely go with the Dasa setup. Search them, they are supposed to be best for the guy who is wanting pipes with a stock setup and not needing to upgrade again once they have gone internally into the engine. Like I said search them, I know stock guys love the Muzzy's.

Well I had very bad luck with the oil in the intake, worst I heard of lol. I sucked so much oil into the intake that it hydro locked the engine and i had to soak up the oil in the throttle bodies with toilet paper (was all we had) So yes I would definatly look to get a YFZ or vendor supplied catch can. I may go another route and come up with something on my own. No need for the intake on the 09's, so I am told, other than maybe something like the Dasa style that gives you a billit adaptor, better filter and allows you to clamp your filter in better ............................and ofcourse the all mighty Dalton clutch setup, very tunable to your specific needs.

I have a 09 with muzzy pipe and am waiting on the msd ignition to be out. I have not had any of the oil in the air box though, and i have ran mine pretty hard. I also got the overdrive cover from dasa and will install it soon so that when all is done it should show 67mph on speedo
