Which winch for an '09??

Hey, I'm going to mount a winch to the front of my new '09. Any suggestions?

I have a Warn XT30 on my Brute Force and love it. Is the XT30 enough for the weight of a SxS? or should I go with the XT40?

Will I need a winch mounting plate? or will it bolt right up to the existing holes that I can see behind the bumper?

Thanks for your help!

I would go for the 40 just for the little bit extra, buddy has the 30 and working ok for him though. I just wanted a little over kill because sunk it already pretty good and took 2 quads with 25's parked in front of some trees to get it out and they were working for it, front tires were in pretty good! The 40 fits fine on the factory base also if you want to know.

I personally think the Warn RT 30 is fine. You are supposed to double the weight of your vehicle and get a winch that fits that weight. That would slightly less than 3000lbs so a Warn RT or XT 30 should be fine and less strain on your wallet and battery.
