Sitting LOW

Just put in my Seat lowering bases today from UTV Crap. Made a pretty big difference in the seat hight.. maybe just about an inch and a half or so.. I think I also picked up like 4 extra HP...

Not trying to be negative, but if you would have requested the TeryxHQ.com decals to be installed on your machine, you could have picked up another 7.5hp

Hey are you still going to go with the Muzzys exhaust? Please let me know if the exhaust fits with the lowered seat bases, rumor has it that it does not and I would really like to know. I am not sure why it would be that it doesn't, but that is just what I seem to remember reading somewhere.

It should still fit. The lowering plate has the same clearance on the bottom as the stock plate. I think the person that lowered their seats and tried to use the Muzzys did it by cutting out some metal and then moving things around a bit (could be wrong) But with the UTV Crap seat bases it just eliminates the top part of the fiber filed mounts that come stock. And yes I'm in it for the stickers, was it that obvious!!

Ahhh ok, so you are thinking that they lowered their seat without a kit but actually cust and fabbed up something to lower it.

I was curious as looking at the plates it did not appear to lower the base but simply as you stated just lowered the top portion of the base.

I was thinking about the seat lowering but after spending some time this weekend I feel I will lose some leg room. I am 6" tall is this the case I already feel kind of cramped and close to the gas pedal.

Hey Neverenough just wanted to pass on that I gained a little room. I'm 6'1 and when I put the seat bases in I re-drilled the mount holes in the seats in order to move the seats back a little. which in turn gave me more leg room than stock.. You could also do this with the stock mounts but I think the metal after market ones will hold up better over time.

And hey dieselpowered I'm needing those stickers man !!!!! Gota support my homie

The lowered seat bases should have zero effect on the Muzzy system.
