Oil temp or water temps? I think water temps should be 240 range but oil temps will need to be 300 to 340 range as oil runs hotter than your coolant. If your oil ran that hot I would add a oil cooler. In heavy duty apps the engine oil is cooled by the antifreeze. Crow

Got my temp guage installed yesterday. It was about 50 degrees. Sitting at idle it gets to 240, then fan kicks on and goes down to 230. Get on it and ride and it went down to 210.

240 sounds way too high. My fan kicks on at 185, and I have never seen it above 200. My temp sensor is in the thermostat housing.

Thought that was high also. My machine has go hot before because fan motor went out and when this happened the flashing light came on on the teryx dash. I just want to have a guage now so that i can see what the temp is if and when it gets hot again. I now will be putting the impeller in to see if it runs cooler than what the temp guage says now so that i know that the impellar does improve cooling.
