you know std bore makes more power than an 840 or 820!

I think Mark5193 used a little sarcasm in his post.

I think with the 820 kit we put in Fox Run's Teryx, we got something like 180hp or was it 18hp, heck I really can't remember.

My dyno has always been conservative, put some different kind of 26" tires same as VFJ uses for dyno work and the Muddy Brute showed much better numbers than the tires I had on there.

From here on out we will be using this set of tires for all dyno runs on Rhino's and Teryx's. We used a set of stock rear tires for his run.

I think if we had this set of tires on the 820 kit would been right at 60 peak HP

It was 3 more than the std bore kit at peak but the std had more as the RPM went up.

Dyno numbers don't mean a whole lot as long as the guy driving the vehicle likes what he has.

Todd

John uses the same tires on all his for consistency purposes and traction so they don't slip... Given the teryx has enough ass to probably not slip on the rollers but a lot of high powered atvs don't.

Since you said dyno numbers don't mean anything then how did the 820 on the butt dyno feel? C'mon now all the talk before was just speculation now that you've actually done both you can have a real opinion...

Although shame they weren't both on carb'ed models... FI's still can't compare to the carb when it comes to built motors.
