tips for od plate install?

Just put my muzzy exhaust on last night, next is dalton od plate and my msd ignition will be in next week. Any tips or tricks for the od plate install? The teryx is getting addicting, I want tires/wheels, hid's and a bigger battery cuz mine dies all the time now. Getting costly haha. Thanks ahead of time for the tips.

Purchased 2011 RZR-S LE 9-10
(SOLD) 10-10 --- 2009 Teryx Monster Energy Edition

Are the the Daltons proprietery (sp)? Says something about them requiring Dalton springs and weights to use???? Is this not a direct bolt on replacement? Can I just buy the plate and install it, eliminating the KEBC... or do I have to buy the Dalton weights and springs too?

You don't have to springs with it and it is a direct bolt on.

You don't have to have the plate to eliminate the brake either, just unplug motor or remove shaft inside cover.

Make sure you get a good hid set up and not the old cheap shit i found on e-bay. I bought my hid on e-bay the night i got home from picking up my 09 teryx. I then later found out about this sight which i have learned alot about where and what to buy.

The od plate in just a plug and play it affects only top speed, the springs and wieghts are in an ajustable clutch that will improve your accelaration, just makes your bike pull harder and changes your rpms also Hunterworks sells plates that you can keep your engine brake or one that eliminates it. The vendors on this site are very helpful Todd at Hunterworks has been helpful to me, he has alot of insructional videos and you can almost always get him on the phone at anytime but any of the vendors on this site are very helpful.
