CVT Snorkel

I have been looking around at all the snorkel treads for the cvt but all the snorkel's people are putting on are 2 inch pipe which i would think would restrict the air flow and heat up the belt more. I am wondering if there is anyone out there that built a snorkel keeping the same ID the whole way instead of reducing to 2 inch.

Thanks guyies

I have a 2" setup. No heat problems in 80 hours. The stock setup is a 2" intake any ways. Just the exhaust is bigger. There is a lot of air moving so I don't think it is a issue, just my thinkin. Crow

In our shop and thru our online customers we have seen and heard a good many people with snorkels with belt issues.

The output needs to be pretty big.

Everyone rides different so if one person has no issues does not mean another won't.

How big should the pipes be? I also installed 2 inch CVT Snorkel, of course I have not ridden hard since I installed them. Air out flow seems good to me on my 09.

At least 3"

Remember a 4" pipe flows 4x the air or water a 2" pipe does not 2x as much
