%&#@$%^*& plastic fasteners!

OK, All I did was take the cover off the air filter and realize I hate these stupid plastic things! Then I start looking around at just how many there are - BLEH!

Anyone come up with a better replacement yet?

LOL my friend, I think we are stuck with them. If I come up with anything else, I will be sure to let you know, but I think they are it for now.

Which ones are you loving, the simple one piece push pins or the two piece fasteners?

the 2 piece ones they are the ones that hold the air box lid on and of course I flipped the inner par out of the outer and it went flying. How I found it I have no idea, but I did .. I can just imagine what it is gonna be like when I pull all the inside plastic for header wrap and heat shielding stuff. Ugh.

Thank you. It's been a blast over the years and sharing the thousands of pics we have taken over the years. We kind of let the message boards die though.. Too busy with life

I hate the plastic push pins also. My Honda Rancher has them all over. After a couple of years of vibration, the holes will get larger and the pins will not stay in. I have already ordered about 40 spares for the teryx. You can get them through a Honda dealer for around 50 cents each.
