On your front diff on the drivers side is where the cable attaches to engage the diff lock, check to see if it is moving or not when you pull the lever. I just ordered a new cable for mine because it is getting sticky and will engage but won't disengage by itself, I have to use a screw driver to move the lever back to unlock the diff. You may have a damaged and/or seized cable and the cable just won't move, you can use a screw driver or something to move the lever without using the cable to make sure it is the cable and not something inside the diff that has failed. Good luck and let us know what you find, I would be pretty sure that it is the cable because not too much other stuff that will do that to you or atleast I hope it is the cable.

I saw a post on here with a guy with the same problem. I thought it said something about just adjusting it with 3 wheels off the ground or something. I'll see if I can locate it.

this is what i found on another forum..

I have seen this problem in most teryx including mine. I looked at the manual and the test/fix for this is as follows:
Move the differential lever 5 clicks toward the lock position. Remove the front left tire leaving the other 3 on the ground. Remove the dust cover for the outer CV joint nut. Remove the cutter pin on the nut. Use a socket (can't remember the exact size I think it was 32mm but I'm not 100% sure) and a torque wrench. Try to rotate that tire clockwise with the torque wrench set at 220ft/lbs. It should NOT rotate. If it does adjust the cable until the torque wrench reaches the 220ft/lbs limit, all this keeping the differential lever 5 clicks toward the lock position. After that is adjusted in such manner release the differential lever and retest. The hub should move with ease when the differential lever is in the unlock position. reassemble everything in reversed order. Hope this helps.
