valve help

im working on adjusting the valves but im not sure how, as in does the exhaust valve need to be closed to set the intake or vice-versa or do you just set them they way they are? thanks for the help.

Move it to Top Dead Center or when both rocker arms are loose. Then adjust both.

how do you move it to top dead center or whats the best way?

There is a timing inspection plug on the drivers side of engine, remove it and then rotate the engine clockwise from that side. Align the T R mark up with mark on the threads in the inspection hole, you must make sure both valves are closed, if not then rotate 360 degrees and align the marks up again.

At this point adjust rear valves then rotate engine 270 degrees until the T F mark aligns and do the front cylinder
