if you have a msd on a stock 2010 or 11 please respond

if your machine is stock and a 2010 or 2011 please watch my youtube video and tell me if you hear this with yours. I have not heard of anyone complaining about a noise when you first start that sounds like a spark knock or just a plain knocking noise. If you have had it please tell me what you did to fix it. With the box all the way unhooked the noise is not there. with it on setting 4 from hunterworks I can hear it but even weirder is on setting 1 which is suppost to be all stock setting it is even worse. Let me know what you think.

also from what I am understanding the msd does nothing for you machine if it is stock except raise the rpm and speed limiter? I was expecting to have more of the seat feeling by just adding this box like it did when I added a dynatek on my brute....... very disappointing.

It would almost seem to me that it would have to be timing or like what I call a light labor knock, I have the same set up from Todd and ran mine stock on 4 and it was great and with the Muzzy run it on 5 but I would suggest seeing if Todd could reprogram or swap out the MSD, unless you have someone close that you could swap out with, but again I don't know of anything that the MSD does except timming that would create a knock, what does Todd say ?

first of all todd is really amazing. it told me a bunch of shit to try tonight but with nothing helping. he told me to ck the tps voltage to see if it was out of range but the software only tells you percentage instead. he said it should show voltage but it does not. dont know if an older software version. I did notice tonight after it got up over 100 degrees it went away????????? but cold every time it does it. the video does not do how loud the knock really is. hey bigdaddy have you looked at your numbers in the software for the advanced and fuel settings on the chart where the little green ball jumps around? if so can we compare?

Mudcon I have mine torn down right now doing a major rebuild, you are talking about while it is running for the numbers, mine is one of the very first 6 that Todd sold and I never had a single issue, any way I can help I will be glad but I can't check anything that requires it to be running, I know how aggravating something like that can be.

it dont have to be running, if you pull up the software and go to tab #4 and over to advance then fuel where the little green ball jumps around. all my numbers from the bottom left corner going up to the upper right corner are all 0's till you get up near the right upper corner. is that the way yours are?
