Cool Fst 840 bbk vs weller racing 840 bbk

I know bbk have been covered alot but I need specific info!! I have a 2011 Teryx with dalton clutch, msd, intake, muzzy pro exhaust and I have been looking into fst kits and weller kits, there is a big difference in price (weller is more expensive) and I want your thoughts as to which one is the more complete and better performing kit.

You are going to get mixed opinions on this topic, if you read some of the old threads there were some very heated discussions about this that actually got very personal, I will just say that anybody that I have heard with either kit have been very satisfied, you will see more from FST on this forum, I actually myself bought a AMR from Glenn, what is the cost of the FST 840 kit now?

I am not all that familiar with all the different kits but I like Jason at weller he put my Teryx together and dynoed it but he is way more money, that's why I was wondering if there is a reason ie quality or all kits are about the same??

Just a thought but if your real comfortable with one place I would suggest speaking with "Jason" explaining your leaning with his kit but that you perfer to give him the business. However, the price difference is $800. If he can move on his pricing i'm sure he will do what he can. You might not get to 1400 but he might be able to get it to where you get to have him do it and pay just a little extra to be completely satisfied with the service. I know it doesn't hurt to ask.

I agree I really like weller, he recommended I look at a STD bore also what do you think about going STD instead of 840 because I have no experience when it comes to working on these rigs, is a STD bore more reliable then a 840... Is there less tuning...

Really not much difference in the reliabilty, of the 2 just the 840 has a good bit more tourqe, and there not alot of difference in price except for having to bore and plate the cylinders. both of those include boring the cylinders don't it?

Yes it does, I wasn't even considering the STD bore until Jason mentioned it but I think I am still going to go with the 840!! I had my motor tuned with the mods I have now what will I need to do as far as the msd and maping goes after I put the 840 on, we don't have any reliable dyno tuners here in utah as far as I know???
