Question Wheel Offset...-33 mm?? Too deep??

So I just got a new set of wheels as a gift. They are KMC XD Series Revolvers in matte black 12x7's. I love the rims...they are awesome quality one-piece construction and look great! The only concern I have with them is the offset, which is a -33 mm. Pretty uncommon I know. If I've done my math right it works out to be a 1.3+5.7. Even deeper than the 2+5's some people have. I haven't mounted any tires on them yet so they are still new in the boxes, in case I have to return them or sell them.

I am concerned about a few things. First of all the width of the teryx. I ride alot of trails here and the extra 7 inches width is going to make this almost impossible. It's already tight at the stock rig width.

Secondly, I'm concerned about how the steering geometry will be effected. I live in Utah, so every ride is a rocky ride. I don't want the steering wheel to be jerked out of anyone's hands or any broken thumbs.

And lastly, with this offset I worry about excessive wear on ball joints, etc that were not designed for this much offset. I figure the stock rims are probably a 5+2 or close to it anyway.

So what do you guys think? Should I try something else? I don't really want to tell my wife that I'm getting rid of the rims she got for me for my birthday. She put alot of thought into this and did her research to make sure she got the right bolt pattern, and I really like them. Just not sure how I'm going to like them once I've mounted them.

i dont have any experience with wide offset rims on the SxS but on my brute I hate it. I would send them back and get the +10mm offset. The stock rims are probably closer to a 6+1
