largest size tire on stock sport

Trying to find out largest size tire for stock sport without rub issues. No
lift or long travel yet. 26.5 or 27 maybe

I'm Running 28" mudlites with no rubbing what so ever, even when you hit big bumps. I have the 2009 monster edition (sport) with 5+2 itp rims.

I have 27,5 pit bulls growlers thet are 28 in work good. Keep in mind big tires are heavy or week if there not.800 hard miles no flats.
