I need top end speed so how do i set up the dalton clutch kit? thanks. it is a 2010 with dynatek cdi and dynatek coils, overdrive plate and air box mod.
Does the Dynatek remove or raise the speed and rev limiter, like the MSD.
The Dalton kit is not really going to gain any top end speed, what kind of top speed are you running now, a 100% stock machine with the MSD ignition should run 61-64 mph with a 100% stock clutch
The clutch kit itself wil only tune the clutching phase (shift). The kit can help bring back some hp lost from larger tires and weight increases to the car
On daltons website he has the manual on how much weight to run and what spring s to install .hope this helps
thanks for the help hunterworks. i have ordered my dalton kit from you and just wanting a little information on setting it up before i get it. some people say they loose speed certain ways its setup.
As far as I know the only way to lose speed with a clutch kit is to install a much stiffer secondary, but the one in the dalton kit will work fine, just follow the instructions in the kit, very simple and easy to follow.
