Post DASA water pump installation

Hey guys,

I just bought a dasa water pump impeller and was just wondering if anyone has any tips or trick on installing it. Do most people put the mechanical seal that dasa supplies in or do you just keep the stock one in and simply thread the impeller on? I've read a few different stories. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks

Kinda doubt a mechanical seal comes with it but a maybe the seal half that goes in the impeller might. We don't include a new seal with ours, just use a pick and get the one from old impeller

I was hoping for more details on what to do. I understand about either going in from the bottom or side/top, then remove the water pump plate, but after that I'm lost. I'm guessing just un-screw the stock impeller then screw in the new one & button it back up?

That is basically it, remove impeller cover, clean gasket, unscrew impeller, swap seals from old impeller to new, then screw new on back on, gasket and cover.
