840 jetting help

hi guys have a 840 took it to the dyno to have it jetted and it made 59 horse power. well there was issues with the in take and after I fixed it, and it ended up really lean. I have now moved up from 140/145 to 155/165 dyno jet, needle on second grove. 38.5 pilot. when I hit the throttle it likes to linger at 3000. I am 3 turns out on both. I think I am still lean should I go to 40 on the pilot and up the main. Looking for suggestions. I am at 1000 feet.

thanks

Don't fool around, get a air/fuel ratio gauge and dial it in

Also someone is gonna tell you 59 is low for a 840 and it is for most dynos but I got in the 50's here too. All dyno's are different.

The one that dynoed in the 50's here outruns everything it runs against
