pros/cons staggered wheels?

I've heard the Rex turns better w/non-staggered tires, but am wondering what it's giving up (other than weight) to get those gains? Does it affect it's mud/sand prowess?
Just wondering why Kawi went w/staggered set if they're not considered better?

I recently ordered a set of 26.5x9x12's, but am now considering changing the rears to 26.5x11x12 before its too late.

I run bigger on the back for more floatation and 2" narrower on the front so it is slightly easier to turn.

If you need the floatation go with the 11's but if not it will steer better with the 9's.

Car runs WAY better with 9's on all 4 corners way more responsive.

Does it make it steer better, less push?

I have ran 2" wider tires in the back for 4 quads and then when I converted to the Teryx. Never an issue. I always run upgrades for power and never had an issue sliding around corners (on purpose). I typically run 10's in the front and 12s in the back. Never a steering issue.

Have u ever ran non-staggered tho?, i never really had any trouble running staggered either but after reading posts from ppl who have run both ways saying non staggered steers more responsive if your not worried about flotation im considering giving it a shot next time, but would hate to be disapointed with tire prices way they are these days, plus being able to rotate tires and only having to carry 1 spare makes alot of sense

Wider tires on the rear make the front end push more. And more unspung weight. I have 27.5 X 9 all around works well.

Many years running 2" different widths and can say I never noticed a noticable front end push vs same width. Just my experience though. Take it as an opinion. I run narrower in front for slightly easier turns than the 12" wide ones I have in the back. I run mud, skeg, fast trails, rocks and some sand.
