Same ol' oil question, different scenario

I know there's tons of oil threads on here, but this isn't just a regular oil change... I sank my 2008 Teryx. I've drained all the water out of the motor and lucked out and didn't mess anything up. Now that everything is back together, my question is. what oil should I run on a recently sank teryx with 100 hrs on it? I'm looking for something I can get at a parts store or Walmart and not have to order. I already have a new OEM filter to replace the old one with. I plan on doing my front and rear dif as well. Thanks for your input guys

I know a few people stated that you should do a few oil changes but I'm not sure where I read that. I would switch to a Synthetic, anywhere from 0to10w40 I believe.

I ran oil through it a few times to make sure all the water was out and flushed. I just wasn't sure what would be a good oil to run with 100 hrs on it and after something like that. I was thinking of going with the mobil 1 4t racing 10w-40 synthetic.

I'm sure it's fine. I run Amsoil 0w40 in the winter, I might switch to 10w40 in the summer, I don't know, I don't think it matters which one. I was running 10w40 synthetic for a while.

1 Drain Machine.
2 Take plugs out and blow water out of cylinder heads.
3 Put new plugs in but dont connect the wires.
4 replace oil filter
5 Fill motor with DIESEL FUEL instead of oil.
6 Crank it over for ten to twenty seconds.
7 Drain diesel fuel from motor.
8 Repeat steps 4 through seven until the diesel draining looks like the diesel you put in the motor.
9 Fill motor with oil
10 Re-connect plug wires.
11 Start machine and run for two to three minutes
12 drain oil
13 replace oil filter with new one
14 refill with oil
15 start and run for 5 minutes
16 kill the machine and check the oil if it all looks good button her up and ride.

This is the way I was instructed to do it by a mechanic friend of mine. Works good. We've done it before. I know it sounds extensive but its worth it.

Future adds ~ exhaust? ~ MSD? ~ power steering? ~

Rear dif takes a special oil. Front diff takes same thing as motor.

09 teryx- msd ignition - water impellar - half windsheild - uni filter - standard muzzy - sdr rear bumper - hid lights - dalton clutch- water temp guage - ss108 14 inch with terra cross - dasa kebc block off plate - brake alarm buzzer - over drive plate -ssv works sound system -removable canvas top-odyssey battery- rock sliders

Not sure on the drowned part. I have heard the same run oil thru several times for short amounts of time drain repeat. Did it lock up completely. Front and rear diff take different kinds of oil rear brakes are oil bath. I use nothing but dealer oil that way I dont mess it up. Yes its a little more money but if you blow up a diff cause you get it wrong the prices are even more crazy. I think if I remember right diff oil front and rear is only like two litres to do both. Here thats like 14 bucks for synthetic right from the dealer.
