Gncc Teryx

Hey guys, haven't posted in awhile, really haven't done a lot to the Rex other than ride it, I did put the plow mount off my Prairie 700 on it, which I have to say was not that hard, but apparently was too hard for Warn to do, seeing how they made a total new system for it, but thats old news.

Noticed how I got my dig in,anyway, whats the deal in the GNCC series, has Kawasaki totally forgotten the series they use to sponsor, why are'nt they at least in the fray?

Seems the built Rex's still can beat most of them out there, of course this is from someone on the sidelines, is it the sponsorship money?, or are the Rex's not in the game anymore?

Don't get me wrong, I still bleed green, even though my Rex is red.

Coming from a GNCC racer in the past in a Rhino and two time cross country champion at Durhamtown I can tell you the issue is the Rhino and Teryx are just too big and slow compared to the RZR's, now the Commander.

The RZR 800 is a perfect GNCC vehicle due to it's size, it can just zip around all that technical stuff.

My rhino would keep up with them in the straights but the technical and the jumps they just leave me.

So most people just go that way.

Hey Todd, how you doing?, I"ll buy the too wide, but power wise?, have the big bore Teryx's been out gunned?

Boy, I need to keep up on things, here I was thinking a 840 kitted Rex could handle a Popo or Can-am easily in the power department.

Any thing except a xp 900. A good friend of mine won several rounds this year. He has a factory can am ride. I raced quads in gncc. These northern woods slow a lot of would be fast guys down. Ride it like you stole it, and have a good time.

Power is ok. My old rhino would keep up with and pass STD RZR 800 but they just killed the rhino in the tight stuff and small jumps. In GNCC it is all about handling.

I haven not checked lately but I think they have a class for the Teryx Rhino still.

I have a XP 900 now, just got it last week

Well, wish I had a pocket full, I sure would at least field one Teryx, really miss the days when Kawasakis ruled this series, but I realize as with anything times they change.
