Tires

Quick question, has anybody tried ITP ATR's on a teryx yet? I have had good luck with them on my Prairie, kinda of a all around tire. Don't ask me why, but I thought I would try GBC Dirt Tamers on the Teryx. I'm pretty happy with them, but the front end seems to push alittle, may be the nature of the beast.
Some feed back may help somebody else make a decision on what to put on their Teryx. So what are others running? Give us your opinion on what you like and why!!
Thanks.

I am running the Goodyear MT/Rs...they have just been installed, however, so far so good.

As soon as I get some hours on them I will have more information.

Come on guys, not everybody is running stock tires are they??? Lets hear what you like and dislike. I tried the GBC dirt Tamers cause I heard they were a copy of the Maxxis Bighorn and they seem like they are a popular tire in GNCC racing and the price for the Dirt Tamers was quite a bit cheaper than a Bighorn. Traction wise I'm very satisfied, they just seem to push alittle at slow speeds. On my Prairie I went with the ATR's for the weight of the tire and they are a pretty good all around tire, for thick mud I would'nt recommend them. So what did you buy and why?, You could help someone decide on what tire to buy!

Tires

I put the Terra Cross on with 14" ITP wheels. I only drove my stock tires about 10 miles. I could tell a huge differance over the stock tires ride. With these tires you can feel them soaking up some rocks in the trail like an extra shock. They don't seem to push at all. Just the feel will tell you it seems to be a soft tire so I am a little concerned about the wear factor. I don't know if they will last as long as the Bighorn. But right now I am very happy with the feel and traction of them. When you do a donut, They will leave NO turf in the tire track, nothing but a rut about 1.5" deep (less lawn to mow).

I installed 26x9.5x12 Front and 26x12x12 HighLifter MST's on my Teryx, and have about 80 miles on them so far. Really like them. MUCH better traction than the stock tires and a smoother ride. I also notice less front end pushing on soft stuff and steep slopes.

ITP Mudlite XTR's

I was wondering if I would have any clearance issues with a set of ITP Mudlite XTR's 26x9x12 and 26x11x12? Looks like the tire rod ends are very close to the stock tires now. Also, does anyone have a set of these on a teryx?

Thanks for the information and pictures. I was afraid that the wider front tires would rub the tie-rod.

The MST's are also a good bit wider and they do not rub the tie rods.
