Dalton clutch tools

Do you have to have the puller and spring compressor to install the Dalton clutch kit? I just ordered the kit but I didn't get the special tools.

I have both and use them to change the springs out. Also, one is a reverse thread.

Thanks. I just ordered the clutch puller. I think I can get by without the spring compressor.

My spring compressor is home made. Bought the other tool for around $50 with shipping up here.

You can't do without the puller and the spring compressor can be made but it is needed

Sorry to butt in on the thread but I was wondering if a hydraulic press would do the trick compressing the spring.

Sure but you have to press outside while inside comes thru and take a snap ring off
