Arrow Another valve question

Has Kawasaki improved on their valve problems? Do they still need adjusted a lot or replaced?
If so, WHY?

Anyone know of a good trust worthy place in NE Ohio to complete a Valve job on a Teryx?

Whats your thoughts

Just wanted to know if it was worth while to trade up to a newer one or just rebuild the top end. While I am sure my 08 Teryx needs the top end worked on, I would like to have the FI also. However I don't want to put out the extra bucks$$$ for a new FI if I will have to rebuild the top end on a new one in 300 or so hours.

I don't know if they improved them or not. I have a 2005 Brute Force 750 and adjusted the valves first time last year. The 08 Teryx is not stock, so it doesn't fit in your category and I don't own a T4 so I can't comment on them.

No improvement in valve quality. Every single engine I have torn down has worn valves.

If I bought new Kawi I would put new aftermarket valves in day one

Thanks

Thanks Hunterworks for the input. Thats what I thought. I guess I will stay with the 08 and rebuild the top end this winter.
Do you have a Kit to install, with cams, valves, springs, retainers, guides and so on.
Any sugestions?

I don't sell a kit per say but I can help you out with all that but the guides. Never needed to replace them yet.

I would agree. I use big kevs engine kits in our builds when I do performance work.

Kevin only has +1 valves though, I use std size.

Also I meant never needed to replace the guides yet.
