Need help quick - Air filter question

So I was cleaning my filter today and the little seal gasket came unglued from the casing. Can I reglue it or do I need to replace it?

I would try to fix it with a good glue that is also uneffected by oil, also non hardening after a good cleaning. I like a contact cement that is clear called Automotive may be made by goop not sure about that last part but it's good.

It's a chance is it worth it. New uni stock filter is 25 or less. Big uni and adpt is 85. A new motor is$$$$

I understood it to be something that could possibly be repair effectively for a minimum amount of money,the cage not the filter. $5 vs 25 or more with this economy I've had to fix thing instead of buying new. Not at the cost of a top end nor a new motor, this is where common since comes in handy and trusting your own mechanical abilities,your concerns are well warrented.

Stock filter sux anyway, replace it with the billet adapter and clamp on UNI filter. I know a good place to get one!! LOL
