tire help please

I don't know much about tires and I'm currently trying to order replacements for the stock rims on a 2009 KRF750 Teryx LE.

After reading around here for a while I decided that these would be good for my purposes (sharp loose rock and compact dirt):

Maxxis Bighorn AT25X 8R12/6M917 RWL

Will these fit? Also I was planning to get the same sixe all around so they can be rotated.

Also, I'm not too interested in performance. What is a good recommendation for a set of tires that are a good bang for the buck?

The bighorn has been my favorite all terrain tire until the STI Black Diamond came out, has stiffer sidewall and tread.

It's a 6ply radial tire and is less money.

25 is small for a Teryx, at least go back to 26

I am thinking you can get a 9 front and 10 rear in the 26

Take a look at the tire on our site, if you like I can quote you set.

You are good with your original choice. 26" bighorns will work well for you, even 27" would be a good choice if they come in 12" rims. Stick with the original bighorns though, they are a excellent all around tire. I think the bighorns 2.0's are a litttle light duty for the SXS's.

2012 VIBRANT Blue Teryx 4, Muzzy pro's, ECU reflash, custom cage & roof, windshield, 14" STI HD Beadlocks & 32x10x14 STI Roctane's/Tatou 4S Tracks, Rigid Lights, Custom bumpers, Warn XT4000 winches front & rear, bedlift

2010 black, FST 840 stage II cams, DASA intake & injectors, BF throttle bodies, Msd, Muzzy Pro`s, Snorkeled, Warn XT 4000, EMP, 2 seat race cage, Custom rear Radiator, Unisteer, STI HD beadlocks and 30x10x14 EFX motoclaws

You gave good advice on the clutch but not so sure about this tire stuff!! LOL

Really after actually having at least ten sets of bighorns plus bighorn 2.0 and using them in all kinds of situations including cross country racing and having them on four different vehicles then these STI tires come along I have simply abandoned the bighorn based on the performance, weight, sidewall stiffness, handling and price.

Hey man, you are getting some good advice here. I'm still not sure if the fronts and the backs have to be different size as they were on the OEM's
