Teryx VS Rzr S ???

Hi, I have a stock Teryx and need to make faster than my Buddies new Rzr S before we drag race or I will never hear the end of it. I was wondering if a Muzzy Power Pack would make that happen or are we talking a 840 kit also. I dont want to affect reliablity because we mainly just trail ride with the family . If anyone has raced a rzr please let me know the outcome and the mods you used.THANK YOU

Buy a Dynatek or VDI CDI for sure, open up the exhaust (Muzzy or ?) or at least pull the baffle for a tip. Stockbore kit or a Big bore kit (840) would beat the Rzr for sure. Four Stroke Tech, AMR Fundy to name a few, all make good kits.

What to do......

I have a buddy that has a RZR S. A ingnition will make it close but the RZR will still win in a drag race on pavement. You will need ingnition jetting and clutching to win. I'm not sure how much the exhaust will help because I did the 840 kit and the exhaust at the same time.

If you just want to win in a drag race I would do and ignition, Hunterworks jetting/airbox mod and clutching if you just want to win for a reasonable price. But if you want to kick his butt go for the motorwork. My buddy has a fundy stock bore kit and it is a huge difference. My 840 kit is a little better than the stock bore but I have a long way to go on jetting and clutching. It should be a pretty big difference between the two when we get mine dialed in.

If you want to know how to beat the RZR S.... keep in touch with Muzzys.com we have both machines in house for active comparison in R&D.

I am running the Dalton Clutch Kit and Overdrive cap and it is working out GREAT for me. Love it. I have the CDI, HW Carb Kit and Muzzy's Exhaust. Also installed the Rhino siphon break to get the oil out of the airbox which really helped.
