Engine Mods and Warranty

I originally bought the Teryx so my girlfriend could have something to ride around in, but now it seems like I'm really into this damn car. I told myself that I was only going to do safety modifications (i.e. seats, harnesses, lights). Now, 3 trips later and just like every other man in this world. I NEED more power. Just a few questions that need to be asked. Will performance mods screw up the warranty? I purchased an extended warranty and don't want to screw that up since I paid for it. I don't want to do anything that will affect it and if the car breaks down. I don't want to get bent over paying $$$ to get it fixed. Second question, what are some good decently priced mods. Of course, nothing is decently priced in this industry but you get my drift.

Thanks,

Andy

Any work to the engine will void the warranty. Make to sure to read the contact fully, I just canceled my extended after we did the motor mods... We ended up with new pistons and Hot cams and Man what a difference...

Yes motor mods are going to kill your warranty, sorry.

Now if you do the Dalton Clutch kit it will not as it is an approved Kawasaki part.

I guess I will just wait for the warranty to expire. I only got a 2 year so its not that long.

True, but you should still be ok with a CDI, Dalton Clutch, and exhaust

How much power do you think that will add and is it worth the coin? Will the upgrades be noticible with power?
