12/04 HW Carb Kit update

We appeared to have fixed the miss at low speeds by moving the clips on the needls down one position.

I tried to recreate a condition that only a few have complained about and that being lower top speeds than without the kit. Everyone says the low and midrange is great however and that is what the kit was designed for.

I simply don't have the issue here which leads me to believe it is a jetting issue for their location and most likely it is a rich condition and therefore they need to drop a main jet size or two to bring up the top speed.

I don't like throwing info out in the area of leaning up the engine without a air/fuel ratio gauge on that vehicle so you won't get into a overly lean condition.

Again, I really need someone who is having the issue with our kit and has a air/fuel ratio gauge to work with me for a solution for those few people.

I dropped mine one jet size front and rear and everything is great. Going to move the needle too and see if that will help some more

I think several people in some places need to drop main size too to get top end back but hate to tell them to go leaner without a air/fuel ratio gauge.
