Todd, How would you compare a 08 teryx with Dyna CDI, your HW jet/intake kit, and with muzzys exhaust as compared to the 09 with just the muzzy exhaust. Which is gonna have more power? Both with stock wheels and tires. Just wandering how much more powerful a 09 is over a 08.

We are sending a 840 Teryx over to HMF to build a better pipe. I have worked with Muzzy over the past years and I know how to get a good 5hp more out of their pipe. My goal is to have it cheeper, quieter with more HP.

Good work Todd.
Thank you for testing the Muzzy in 09.

Good luck Mickey. I hope you succeed at your 3 point goal. I always find HMF to be some of the louder exhaust systems though. More HP may be possible, if it is a 2 tuned pipes into 1 proper sized exhaust can. I always thought the twin Muzzys look very cool though and gave good hp gains.

dbmachine,

The second chart in the article is comparing the 08 to the 09.

One thing I didn't do is a loaded test, I forgot.

I think once we get the ignition we want and maybe play with fuel only a small amount we will be over the carb version's HP.

Todd do you remember or have a ball park idea what your 08 teryx HP numbers were with muzzy, programmable Dynatek, exhaust tip removed, and with the Hunterworks TPI Valves/jet kit??
