Hey guys,
Wife wont let me spend $5500 on 840 kit. So how much will clutch kit, muzzy exhaust, air intake, jet kit, hot coil add to my teryx? I already have cdi and i figure when she gives in I havent thrown money away cause I need it anyway. Thanks for info.

Hi there, you do realize that the 840 kit will not cost you $5400 right?

Nonetheless, I would say with the mods you indicated you may be looking at 10-12 hp. Without actually having that configuration and having it dyno'd I am not 100% sure.

Stock bore kit doesn't require much work and has a good hp gain. You will likely want the exhaust and a CDI anyways.

How about $1150 for Muzzy, our jet/intake kit, dalton clutch kit.

Save your money on intake, nothing has beaten our jet/intake kit I know of, pass on the coils for now, may have a better choice and less money.

In my opinion, I am thinking 10-12 hp gain with those mods.

Depends on whose dyno and how they do it, whether they use dyno tires or not.

It also depends on whether you are talking peak HP or not.

The jet kit gives 6hp by itself between 15 and 25mph and 2 at peak.

The whole shooting match on my dyno with stock tires does about 9 at peak and little more over in the higher MPH range.

I can tell you there is no better bolt on than what is mentioned, if you want more you have to go internal.

If you read about any more HP gains with same or nearly same you should question the graph.

Todd

I have all those mod's on my 08 and it dyno'd at 44.85 hp to the wheels. That is with using different tires. But I agree with Todd at HW, there are other factors to consider, but I think you should get in that HP range with those mod's.
I will be getting a BBK when my riding season is over, sometime this summer. Just not sure which size to go with yet and what to spend the money on. I am also thinking about more clutch work because that transfers the HP's to the wheels.

Todd. I am in the same spot at Team Green. I want to add some horsepower right now and don't want to tear into the motor yet. I was thinking Muzzy exhaust dalton clutch kit and HW jet intake kit. How long are you going to offer the 1150 deal? Also how much with the dalton clutch cap also?
