Stock clutch is just fine! You just wont get all the hp gains with a stock clutch but it will hold up just fine to the HP! As far as break in, dont let it sit and idle or rev it neutral for a long period of time. Start it, get it warm and then ride it easy for about 15 minutes on and off the throttle and then let it RIP!!!

+1

Vary the RPM all the time and after it is warmed up you can nail it WOT for a second or two here and there during break-in. That is how I have done 3 of them and it works great. Definitely don't drive it like an old lady.

Also, make sure and gas it enough to get good positive belt engagement when you start off then get out of the throttle. Don't be shy on startoff or you can smoke a belt with the new found power, even on the STD Bore kits.

But most important..... ENJOY BABY!!

wonder what my fuel mileage will be with the 840?i rode it somemore today and im liking it more and more..it really gets to 60mph alot faster than it did before...the 840 doesnt hit the brick wall at 50mph like the stock 750 would.i know my friend will do his after he rides in mine.i still have to do the clutch and then fine tune the carbs and i am thru...!for now anyways.will the clutching add that much of an improvement on the 840?i will never be able to ride a stock teryx again.after i get the clutching done ...my local dealer wants to dragrace the 840 against their stock prowler 1000....i hope i can beat it..i know the 1000 is fast as hell stock and it really impressed me.it should be close nonetheless.appreciate the 840 kit mickey and all your help.thanks again.

Shouldn't have any problem with the 1000... 840 brutes out run the 1000 arctic cat pretty easily and I don't see there being to much of a weight difference between the teryx/prowler.
