YFZ Siphon Break Bracket

We had quite a few guys asking for some kind of bracket for the YFZ siphon break so we designed this based on Mickey at FST's design. I just had them laser cut out of .125 5052 aluminum and CNC broke...the YFZ can has a nice angle for drainage to either a drilled out fitting on the head or the "Michael" fitting that Hunter Works sells...I am using ONLY the Hunter Works "Michael" fitting with a 90 fitting right after it, a 5/8" to 3/8" into the bottom of the YFZ can. I personally believe that some of the guys using the "Michael" fitting are not putting a 90 in the return line and thus experiencing some drainage problems and the resulting 'oil puke"...at least that is what I have seen on 2 machines so far...just my 2 cents...

BUT installed properly, the YFZ set-up on our 840 machine has never smoked or puked oil and the dipstick has never been more than 100 ml less than when I started a weekend of driving...last weekend we put 27 hours on our car in 2 days...oil level was right in the middle of the stick so I am VERY happy with the set-up...

Anyways here is the pictures of the set-up...

Mark and drill your holes...

Bolt it up to the shifter housing with the included stainless steel hardware...

Mount your YFZ catch can...

I include shoulder washers because the YFZ can has some big holes to line up...

Nice clean install that still fits under the housing...

Nice angle for the oil to drain...

My 90 off the "Michael" fitting...
