$ low buck cnc porting $

I am going to meet with some new people to do my CNC porting work in the morning. I should come back with some good news for those that want first rate big valve porting done when you get a high performance kit for your Teryx. This will work best at getting the best bang for the buck if you have to replace your stock valves and do a valve job when you rebuild your motor. It will also be a big gain if later you want to go bigger carbs or throttle bodies.

I hope to be able to offer this at $855 for porting and stainless big valves.

Here is how are heads stack up

I have no idea how I posted this over here. If the mods were on their toes they would have moved this alreadyCamo would have moved it,to the delete file Inside joke, not everyone will understand this one either.

Anyway, the meeting went good but I will need to give him time to do some to get it nailed down on pricing. I gave him 6 sets of heads so that should give us a good idea on how long the machine will take to do 2 at a time,or 1 set.

Oh I know first hand what those can do.

What kind of gains over a stock headed 801 (90mm on 650 stroke) motor?

I don't like answering question about hp number because those that try to sell you stuff by their numbers most of the time lie. This is what started the war between me and Fundy. He would say he would get 15 hp from doing his black magic porting, and I would say and still do 5hp with stock carbs. Now if you put carbs on a good set of heads you can get up to 15 more with both.I like to look at what hp you get per dollar. If you are going to spend $200 on a valve job and another $200 on valves then another $450 is going to get you 1hp for $100 and that is good money spent. I would like to see it at $50 per hp but you only get that with just the first bolt in's like cam pistons if they are good ones. After that you will spend $100 plus to get any good gains,ie carbs at $1000 get's you 10 more hp after porting.HP is harder to get them most people think because some builders through numbers around like it's so easy to get big gains,it's not. Most of the top builders numbers are real close because there is only so much power in there and we all know how to get it. There isn't any of us building more HP then the rest.It all comes down to service and cost. Is it in stock and how soon can you get it,that's where we shine.

One of the 2 engine builders I have heard that actually admits this on an open forum and I have done business with one of them and was very pleased at the customer service. If I ever decide to do head work and sv650 39mm carbs. Ill probably be giving you a call.
