I use it in every atv I have. I just never put it in the Teryx due to the bullcrap involved in getting to the radiator. Now that everything is off of it and getting a new impeller, I will be putting Engine Ice back in it. I also modified the hood with one of the clean out plates from the floor board so that I could get to the radiator cap easily now. Everyone has their opinions on Engine Ice, oil, etc.... so if it makes you feel better by all means swap it out. I think it only takes about 2 jugs judging by the antifreeze that came out of mine.

thats what I was thinking and hoping, my 450 always boiled over at idle after riding it for awhile, till I put the engine ice in, then it has not done it ever since, its worth a shot

i run it in my teryx.... i dune hard and am at full throttle 95% of the time.., on real long climbs, i will hit about 205...i dont think it will lower the temp, but it is more of a safety net as it has a higher boiling temp...just a little bit of insurance for me. i also bought fundy's impeller that i havent had time to put in yet...that will help more than anything

how cold is super cold, was gonna try this but i live in pa and ride all winter and dont store my teryx in heated garage, i dont expect it would get below -10 here and prolly wouldnt be riding when it was but dont wanna risk a freeze up.

If you are puking antifreeze, I'd say it's time to upgrade your impellar. The Engine Ice dropped my temps on my LTR450 a little, but not enough to remedy a shortfall. With the impellar, you may not have anymore issues.
My bud in the business (dealer mechanic) told me to think of the Engine Ice as a "summer only" option. Even though you may not be riding in cold weather ... is it stored in the cold or is it in a heated garage? If it freezes solid in storage you still have the chance of some major damage.

Engine Ice is great! I have had my temps up to 240 for a short time and it didnt boil. Go with the Dasa impellor , it made a bigger diff in mine than Fundys. On the bottle of engine ICE it says it protects up to -27. Is there a issue with it freezing?
