Need advice ASAP

I first posted this on another forum but this forum looks like there are more power junkys here

So guys I am a bit of a speed/power junky. In your guys personal opinion will the teryx ever plant you in the seat and excite you or does even the best modded teryx still a big let down. When I say put you in the seat I mean when you nail the throttle does it excite and make your heart race or is it just ehh. I only take this thing to glamis so its strictly in the sand. What I am looking for is for the people who have driven built teryxs what do you guys think. I have three options with my 09 teryx. As for my background I build engines and run a chassi dyno for a living. So I have the means of going nuts on this thing just want to know if its going to be worth the effort. I have taken my 09 teryx out twice now, I have the msd, spark arrester removed and a airfilter with adapter and I think this thing is a turd!!!

1. build the motor and do all the supporting mods, pistons cams porting ect...

2. leave the motor stock and turbocharge it which should yield the best power but not sure how strong the stock engine is would want to at least double the power

3. sell it and get something else

thanks guys

Its night and day with a built motor...

I had an 840 brute and a stock teryx... Brute was fast no doubt and I would have never considered selling it until I built the motor in the Teryx... Now the brutes long gone.

These engines are very strong stock... The only thing I'd ever worry about running a turbo and high boost is the stock pistons.

I say if you build it you will enjoy it. How far you decide to go will determine your outcome of course.

Give Glen at After Midnight Racing a call on some engine parts.

sell it and get a rail. i came from a tatum rail and really miss the power. depends on who you ride with. i was the only one in my group with a car and that's no fun. that being said, my std bore does pretty good, 65-70 one pavement, 60 in the dunes. looking to put nos on soon, need a 30 shot!

Do you have any experience with them in a Teryx?
